Invoke Your ‘God Mode’…

Updated: Mar 12

How do you access Universal intelligence, intuition, wisdom, Truth, and creativity? Do you want to have a conversation with 'God'? How do you achieve 'God-consciousness'? What is the Buddha-mind and how do you attain it? How do you invoke your ‘God-mode’? On his deathbed, Beethoven was handed manuscripts of some of Schubert's musical pieces and the 56-year-old master declared "Truly in Schubert there is the divine spark." Brahms wrote "My love for Schubert is a very serious one. Where is genius like his, which soars so aloft so boldly and surely... To me he is like a child of the Gods."

This is not ego: Quite the opposite. These are not small questions and it's no small challenge to answer them in one article. Regardless of the problems that you feel that you have right now, there is one solution: To transcend your fears and anxieties and access infinite possibility, peace, joy, and abundance by disidentifying from your lack-based, hustling, striving, controlling ego (who just wants to stay in victim-mode and fight the Universe) to invoke your ‘God-mode’ and get your 'higher power' and the Universe to work for you. This is an achievable reality. But how do you do it? Please let me tell you how...

 How to invoke your 'God-mode':

1.     Access intuition and have a 'direct line to God' through meditation and mindfulness

2.     Read the book trilogy by Donald Neale Walsch called ‘Conversations with God”

3.     Step into 100% Faith in your Self

Invoking 'God-Mode' on a silent retreat in Black Mirror's Season 5 "Smithereens"

In a brilliant episode of Black Mirror Season 5 entitled ‘Smithereens’ (a must-watch), with typical wonderful acting by Andrew Scott as Chris: The CEO of a social media company, Billy Bauer, who is interrupted on a silent retreat in a desert, the visuals deliberately recalling Jesus in the wilderness, steps into and invokes ‘God mode’ to find the answer in a very challenging situation that none of his executives know how to handle. It turns out, too, that Bauer can grant Chris one thing that he wants. It is an engaging human drama that delivers at a much deeper level than one would anticipate. Chris’s heart-wrenching confession to Bauer, then – brilliantly brought to life by Scott – is not a new tale of technological addiction but a very old tale of a crisis of Faith. Torn apart by his loss, Chris is asking God, why? Why did you take my wife from me?

Higher consciousness or higher intuition (also called God-consciousness, Christ-consciousness, or expanded consciousness) or ‘better consciousness’ by the philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer, is a term that has been used in various ways to label particular states of consciousness or personal growth, development, and transformation. It may be used to describe a state of liberation from the limitations of self-concept or ego, as well as a state of mystical experience in which the perceived separation between the isolated self and the world or God is transcended. It may also refer to a state of increased alertness or awakening to a new perspective. While the concept has ancient roots, practices, and techniques, it has been significantly developed as a central notion in contemporary popular philosophy, holistic positive psychology, and spirituality. Arthur Schopenhauer wrote “The ‘better consciousness’ in me lifts me into a world where there is no longer personality and causality or subject or object. My hope and my belief is that this better (super-sensible and extra-temporal) consciousness will become my only one, and for that reason I hope that it is not God. But if anyone wants to use the expression 'God' symbolically for the better consciousness itself or for much that we are able to separate or name, so let it be.” God is simply a short word for the indescribable power of the infinite creative consciousness of the Universe.

Johann Gottlieb Fichte, one of the founding figures of German Idealism, which developed from the theoretical and ethical writings of the legendary philosopher Immanuel Kant, distinguished the finite or empirical ego from the pure or infinite ego. The activity of this "pure ego" can be discovered by a "higher intuition".

Higher self is a term associated with multiple belief systems, but its basic premise describes an eternal, omniscient, conscious, and intelligent being, who is one's real Self.

The lower self-consciousness is "the animal part of mankind", which includes basic sensations such as hunger, thirst, pain and pleasure, as well as basic drives and pleasures, and higher self-consciousness is, in the words of theologian Dawn DeVries, "The part of the human being that is capable of transcending animal instincts", and the "Point of contact with God". Bunge describes this as "The essence of being human". When this consciousness is present, "People are not alienated from God by their instincts". The relation between the lower and the higher consciousness is akin to "Paul's struggle of the spirit to overcome the flesh", or the distinction between the natural and the spiritual side of human beings. This ‘silent self’ or ‘the still, quiet voice of God’ is the domain of flow and genius, as with Shakespeare's writings.

By that higher intuition - or God-knowledge, which carried the mind from the world of form into that of formless spirit, man has been sometimes enabled in every age and every country to perceive things in the interior or invisible world.

The Buddha-mind  refers to either, or both, bodhicitta, "Buddha's compassionate and Enlightened mind," and to Buddha-nature, "The originally clear and pure mind inherent in all beings to which they must awaken.

Prayer is the asking, and meditation is the hearing the answer through the still small voice of God.

30 gems from the book:

  1. “There are no coincidences in the Universe.”

  2. “Intuition is the ear of the soul.”

  3. “Religion would have you take its word for it. That is why all religions ultimately fail. Spirituality, on the other hand, will always succeed. Religion asks you to learn from the experience of others. Spirituality urges you to seek your own. Religion cannot stand Spirituality. It cannot abide it. For Spirituality may bring you to a different conclusion than a particular religion—and this no known religion can tolerate. Religion encourages you to explore the thoughts of others and accept them as your own. Spirituality invites you to toss away the thoughts of others and come up with your own.”

  4. “Be a gift to everyone who enters your life, and to everyone whose life you enter. Be careful not to enter another’s life if you cannot be a gift.”

  5. “Pain results from a judgement you have made about a thing. Remove the judgement and the pain disappears.”

  6. “When you give your children knowledge, you are telling them what to think. That is, you are telling them what they are supposed to know, what you want them to understand is true. When you give your children wisdom, you do not tell them what to know, or what is true, but, rather, how to get to their own Truth.”

  7. “The correct prayer is therefore never a prayer of supplication, but a prayer of gratitude. When you thank God in advance for that which you choose to experience in your reality, you, in effect, acknowledge that it is there…in effect. Thankfulness is thus the most powerful statement to God; an affirmation that even before you ask, I have answered. Therefore never supplicate. Appreciate.”

  8. “Expectations ruin relationships.”

  9. “A life lived by choice is a life of conscious action. A life lived by chance is a life of unconscious reaction.”

  10. Truth and God are found in the same place: In the silence.”

  11. “Mine is always your Highest Thought, your Clearest Word, your Grandest Feeling. Anything less is from another source.”

  12. “Free choice arises out of one of the only two possible thoughts there are: A thought of love or a thought of fear. Fear is the energy which contracts, closes down, draws in, runs, hides, hoards, harms. Love is the energy which expands, opens up, sends out, stays, reveals, shares, heals. Fear wraps our bodies in clothing, love allows us to stand naked. Fear clings to and clutches all that we have, love gives all that we have away. Fear holds close, love holds dear. Fear grasps, love lets go. Fear rankles, love soothes. Fear attacks, love amends. Every human thought, word, or deed is based in one emotion or the other. You have no choice about this, because there is nothing else from which to choose. But you have free choice about which of these to select.”

  13. “When fear is taken from you, all else can be taken from you and you will not be angry.”

  14. “You are the creator of your reality, and life can show up no other way for you than that way in which you think it will.”

  15. “For it is the nature of people to love, then destroy, then love again that which they value most.”

  16. “Reaction is just that - an action you have taken before. When you “re-act,” what you do is assess the incoming data, search your memory bank for the same or nearly the same experience, and act the way you did before. This is all the work of the mind, not of your soul.”

  17. “A true Master is not the one with the most students, but one who creates the most Masters. A true leader is not the one with the most followers, but one who creates the most leaders. A true king is not the one with the most subjects, but one who leads the most to royalty. A true teacher is not the one with the most knowledge, but one who causes the most others to have knowledge. And a true God is not One with the most servants, but One who serves the most, thereby making Gods of all others. For this is both the goal and the glory of God: that His subjects shall be no more, and that all shall know God not as the unattainable, but as the unavoidable.”

  18. “Isn’t it interesting that you find nothing blasphemous about seeking to be like the devil, but seeking to be like God offends you.”

  19. “Jesus knew that if he gave people the help they asked for, rather than merely the help he wanted to give, that he was empowering them at the level at which they were ready to receive empowerment.”

  20. “If you choose to believe in a God who somehow needs something - and has such hurt feelings if He doesn’t get it that He punishes those from whom He expected to receive it - then you choose to believe in a God much smaller than I. You truly are Children of a Lesser God.”

  21. “In this way, feelings can be tricky. Feelings are the language of the soul, but you must make sure you are listening to your true feelings and not some counterfeit model constructed in your mind.”

  22. “Return to spirituality. Forget about religion. That statement is going to anger a lot of people. People will react to this entire book with anger…unless they do not. Why do You say, forget religion? Because it is not good for you. Understand that in order for organised (institutionalised) religion to succeed, it has to make people believe they need it. In order for people to put faith in something else, they must first lose faith in themselves. So the first task of organised religion is to make you lose faith in yourself. The second task is to make you see that it has the answers you do not. And the third and most important task is to make you accept its answers without question. If you question, you start to think! If you think, you start to go back to that Source Within. Religion can’t have you do that, because you’re liable to come up with an answer different from what it has contrived. So religion must make you doubt your Self; must make you doubt your own ability to think straight.”

  23. “So I devised a way for you to create anew, and Know, Who You Are in your experience. I did this by providing you with: 1. Relativity - a system wherein you could exist as a thing in relationship to something else. 2. Forgetfulness - a process by which you willingly submit to total amnesia, so that you can not know that relativity is merely a trick, and that you are All of It. 3. Consciousness - a state of Being in which you grow until you reach full awareness, then becoming a True and Living God, creating and experiencing your own reality, expanding and exploring that reality, changing and re-creating that reality as you stretch your consciousness to new limits - or shall we say, to no limit.”

  24. “You must stop seeing God as separate from you, and you as separate from each other. The only solution is the Ultimate Truth: nothing exists in the Universe that is separate from anything else. Everything is intrinsically connected, irrevocably interdependent, interactive, interwoven into the fabric of all of life. All government, all politics, must be based on this Truth. All laws must be rooted in it. This is the future hope of your race; the only hope for your planet.”

  25. “The central question in ANY decision is, “What would love do now?” Love for yourself, and love for all others who are affected or involved. If you love another, you will not do anything that you believe could or would hurt that person. If there is any question or doubt, you will wait until you can get to clarity on the matter.”

  26. “Yet I have said over and over again that there is no “right” or “wrong” in the Universe. A thing is not intrinsically right or wrong. A thing simply is.”

  27. “You don’t know how to love without condition.”

  28. “What you resist, persists. What you look at disappears. That is, it ceases to have its illusory form. You see it for what it Is. And what Is can always be changed. It is only what Is Not that cannot be changed. Therefore, to change the Isness, move into it. Do not resist it. Do not deny it.”

  29. “This one simple change - seeking and finding peace within - could, were it undertaken by everyone, end all wars, eliminate conflict, prevent injustice, and bring the world to everlasting peace. There is no other formula necessary, or possible. World peace is a personal thing! What is needed is not a change of circumstance, but a change of consciousness.”

  30. “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.” Let me be your guide...
