Man Minus Mind Equals God

Updated: May 6

What does this aphorism mean? How can it be the equation for your life? I thought that we could explore this in my 130th article about transformation. You need to become the observer of your mind, the silent witness. Don’t hang on to your thoughts. You will find God in the stillness and that is where you will connect to your Higher Self.

As Albert Einstein said "When the solution is simple, God is answering."

How do we know the mind of God?

“I want to know the mind of God,” Einstein said. “The rest are details.” What is the mind of God? Universal consciousness. What does it mean to know the mind of God? To be Self aware. What are the details? Your outer purpose, and whatever happens outwardly. You need to connect with your inner purpose, which is who you are, and do everything from that place of BEing. Eckhart Tolle said "Forget about your life situation and pay attention to your life. Your life is now. Your life situation is mind-stuff. Your life is real."

Nikola Tesla said "The gift of mental power comes from the divine, and if we concentrate our minds on that Truth, we become in tune with this great power."

The mind of God is beyond intelligence and is pure creativity. As the psychiatrist and spiritual Master Carl Jung wrote "The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct acting from inner necessity. The creative mind plays with the objects it loves."

Archie Lakota said "Think only about what is holy. Empty your mind." If we let our minds wander, we will come up with a lot of junk; maybe angry thoughts, maybe self-pity thoughts. Our minds are not the real boss. We can instruct our mind to think about whatever we want to think about. We can't stop thinking, but we can choose what to think about. Choose to have only the intuitive thoughts that come from Universal Consciousness.

Vernon Howard wrote that "One of the first results of psychic upliftment is that unwanted events cease to happen. Why? Because exterior conditions spring from our inner states. So

as we raise our level, exterior problems fall away. We are no longer their victims. To be in charge of an exterior situation means one thing only - to be in charge of your inner (true) Self."

Your mind is composed of limiting beliefs. Your heart is limitless in its capacity. Another life equation, then, would be:

Your perceived limitations all come from, as Buddhists say, your 'monkey mind,' the ego: Which is the terrified 7-year old you that the world never allowed to grow up. Infinite possibility is the miracle that happens when you only entertain thoughts from the voice of your highest Self, your soul.

Dropping out of your mind will heal you. Napoleon Bonaparte said that "The best cure for the body is a quiet mind." Anthony Hopkins wrote "We are dying from overthinking. We are slowly killing ourselves by thinking about everything. Think. Think. Think. You can never trust the human mind anyway. It's a death trap."

The mind is like the cloak of invisibility - we are all consumed by what the mind saturates us with. The mind is a veil of illusion. The mind is the sixth sense and forms a blurred lens through which we view the world, which is not based on Truth and reality, and never brings clarity. The mind brings chaos and conflict, due to thoughts that are not our own and come from fear.

Marcus Aurelius wrote "You have power over your mind - not outside events. Realise this, and you will find strength."

Our mind is more cunning than us - and that blows us away as we are very cunning. The mind is the fearful ego that lives in our basic reptilian brain (yes, we do have one) and forces us into survival mode. You are way more than just a survivor, whatever Charles Darwin and Rocky Balboa said. Our evolution in consciousness puts us way beyond the realms of what DNA and fighting can achieve.

You have to become very aware of your thinking, and then drop out of your mind. Truth is a feeling, not a thought. Open your heart and let it do the thinking and the talking. William Blake wrote that "If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear as it is: Infinite."

As Paul said in the Bible in Acts 17:28 “In Him we live and move and have our BEing.” The world moves through us.

Paul Davies, who wrote the book ‘The Mind of God’ wrote that “Through conscious beings the Universe has generated self-awareness. This can be no trivial detail, no minor byproduct of mindless, purposeless forces. We are truly meant to be here."

How do we drop out of our minds to allow Universal consciousness to flow through us as intuition? Meditation, mindfulness, and breathwork are great places to start. Presence drops you out of your mind. As the Buddha said "Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment."

Then you need to train your mind to only allow connection with higher thoughts. The easiest way to do this is to ask in every moment “What would love do?” The intuitive answer to this is your highest thought. This is knowing the mind of God. It's time to invoke your 'God-Mode.' As Lao Tzu said "To the mind that is still, the whole Universe surrenders." William S. Burroughs said that "Your mind will answer most questions if you learn to relax and wait for the answer." So, what are you not waiting for?

Namaste.

Sending you love, light, and blessings brothers.
