OLLY ALEXANDER BRANFORD:
BEYOND COACHING TO TRANSFORMATION
Mapping the Human Condition and How to Heal It:
From Success to Superabundance
The Map of Your Life:
How You Got Here
And How You Go Up
Above is my video guide for you about the Map of your life that I have made for you:
It is my gift for you, to you, and about YOU...
I am here to serve you.
The map is genuinely revolutionary, and of course I give it to you freely.
This is a comprehensive visual map of exactly how the whole of life works.
It has never been seen before as it has never previously been drawn.
Seeing is healing.
Buddha's teaching was "Come and see", rather than just believing. This is not 'believe' or 'abstract theory.' This is seeing through obscuration and a word of illusion cast by fear. This is how we see the mechanism, and in that seeing, we step out of the illusion.
Doctor Mark Epstein, the psychiatrist and author is one of our 'intersectional witnesses' between timeless Buddhist psychological language and cutting edge Western psychodynamic intervention. While Sigmund Freud dwelt on the psychopathology of everyday life, sometimes sitting there in the rain with only a brolly, Buddha had already been busy describing its perfection. Buddha said:
"Enlightenment is one and the same as this world of suffering, he said. It is revealed when our habits of obscuration, our fears of annihilation, are relinquished."
The real novelty of our work together is not only that I have mapped the entire 'Human Condition' for you, but that I also provide the method, tools, and 100% actionable steps required for you to go beyond the horizon of your dreams, rather than you being caught under the immovable weight that is a lifetime of expectation that has been imposed on you.
We are going to look at the hidden mechanics of the human psyche, where it gets jammed up, and specifically where true transformational work with me actually begins.
The Map is of my entirely novel 'Meta-Framework of the Unified Field of the Human Condition and How to Heal It': The expanded view is shown in the section below.
The Map is the guide to your greatest treasure.
I am here for you, to guide you back to the guide inside you who no will longer need a guide.
The map is the treasure. You are the treasure. The only way to find the pot of Gold at the end of the rainbow is to BE the rainbow.
Your map explains with ultimate compassion, zero judgement, deep understanding, the inevitable invisible mechanics beneath your life up to the very present day, and how our work together will restore 100% of your agency. Our highly targeted, totally unique theory, method, entirely actionable, concrete powerful steps and tools are the map back to the limitless human BEing that you already are: We all need a reminder, a remembrance: 'Re-Collection' of the most powerful part of us that was never destroyed, but that occasionally, well inevitable, needs waking up.
Today is the day where the inevitable physics of the rolller-coaster that we were forced to board ends, where your agency is fully restored, and where the irresistibly powerful version of you takes over. You become your own Satellite Navigation System.
I see the highest, most whole, healed version of you, and will hold that space until you see you for yourself.
It's time to 'unbox' your life from fear. You are so infinitely bigger than the box than you were put in.
You are limitless.
Below is your first glimpse of your Map: Your greatest treasure - YOU

The Map of My 'Meta-Framework of the Unified Field of the Human Condition and How to Heal It': It is my Gift to You
We're going to look at the hidden mechanics of the human psyche, where it gets jammed up, like a clog chucked into a mechanism (which is actually the etymological origin of the word 'sabotage' from the French word for clog 'sabot'), and specifically where true transformational work with a guide actually begins.
So let's start with a simple question:
"Who are you if all your external definitions are just removed?"
Really think about it. Strip away your CV, your title, your biggest achievements, remove your role as a partner, a parent, a provider, or a boss. Think about that massive 'Wrong Tower' from my Homepage. What's left when the wardrobe department of fear is completely gone? We spend so much time building these external identities that we totally lose sight of the deeper self buried underneath the costume.
We love to tell ourselves that we're these rational captains steering the ship, constantly making independent choices. But virtually everything that we call a choice is literally just our nervous system repeating what once kept us safe. For a massive chunk of our lives, what feels like a conscious decision is actually just a survival loop laid down by some early fear. We aren't pushed down these paths by authentic desire, but by this choiceless compulsion to just survive and manage emotional pain.
Which tells us exactly who this journey is really for: Well actually it's for everyone as we will see later, as we have all have childhood Trauma and we have all therefore developed coping mechanisms - invariably coping and distracting mechanisms from this unbearable emotional pain, which may be grouped under the widest heading.
That widest heading, the 'Director of the show', in our subconsciously-driven conscious lives and non-choices-masquerading-as-choices is 'Imitation love.'
This widest heading has the narrowed path, and that path is the direct continuation of the 'Path of Attachment' on the 'right hand path' of my Map that I have created for you.
That path is called the 'Quest For Love.' This quest manifests as the physics of a life and presents as a set of symptoms and signs, the syndrome of the Human Condition. These include every type of addiction, whether it be substance or behavioural - both operate through the same neurobiological mechanisms. The philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer called it the 'Will to Live', and described it as a craving, a 'ceaseless striving.' One of the most visible manifestations of this craving, this ceaseless striving with no joy in sight, which is one of the most powerful addictions, and one that singularly dominates our lives, is our addictions to 'success.'
We're talking about incredibly high functioning individuals who have absolutely mastered the art of looking strong while secretly carrying something completely unresolved.
What if their 'success' is not a mistake: It is an incomplete journey? And it is this sense of incompleteness that is felt as 'desolation at the destination.'
Think doctors, lawyers, founders, top tier creatives. You might actually recognise yourself here if you're incredibly capable on the outside, but completely exhausted in private. You know, you've climbed the ladder, you've optimised every inch of your performance, but then you realise those traditional markers of success, they haven't touched that deeper inward dislocation. Satisfies, as it turns out, just didn't heal the wound. Understand exactly why success isn't enough, we have to trace the inner river of the psyche. It plays out in 4 pretty distinct steps. It starts at step one with early conditional love, a lack of unconditional love as children, which is the same as expectation, which is the same as childhood Trauma, which essentially acts as a fracture of our psyche.
This pushes us right into step two, the 'Path of Attachment', where we adapt just to survive. That adaptation triggers step three, which is this endless, exhausting 'Quest for love and external validation. And where does that quest ultimately leave us? Step four, the 'Temple of Emotional Anaesthesia'. Whether we bury ourselves in chasing money, the rigid structures of a high pressure career or celebrity, we're just trying to numb our existential pain - always caused by the conditionality of love. We literally build a prison and then mistake the numbness for peace. This is why my Map is the greatest novelty of my work. It shows you the physics of how you got to where you are and how you feel. And it gives us a clue about how we can harness this rather than tear it down like traditional approaches would have you believe.
The comprehensive visual map of the entire spatial and temporal landscape of our lives shows exactly how your pain builds the very architecture and prison of your life. It maps out the hidden mechanics of a life dominated by a craving for imitation love.
It shows you exactly how the ego forms and turns the cogs. You handed it the key. It used that key to make a prison, then it gave away the key.
But here's the absolute key changer. The map isn't just a 'clever' diagram. It is the treasure itself. Why?
Because of the things that you're suffering is not random. It's lawful. When you look at this map, it's the very first time the terrain stops pretending to be this chaotic, unmanageable mess. The map is a total circuit breaker. Recognising your own life here is an act of profound relief. Seeing is healing. One of the Buddha's most foundational philosophies was that bringing mindful awareness ('sati') to your suffering and uncovering the roots of your attachments and mental illusions is the path to liberation and the end to suffering. In this tradition, clear, non-judgmental "seeing" of reality is the ultimate cure. Clarity is the catalyst for the cure.
With the Map, you can begin to truly see.
Dr Carl Jung wrote that:
"There is no coming to consciousness without pain. Seeing clearly means we can't keep lying to ourselves the way we used to. That ache you feel while you're healing? It's not proof you're failing, it's proof you're waking up."
The Zen Masters spoke the same Truth. The philosopher-poet and peaceful warrior Samurai Mizuta Masahide encapsulated classic Zen philosophy emphasising that accepting and seeing the current reality brings a new perspective
"Barn's burnt down — Now I can see the moon."
Marcel Proust wrote:
“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.”
The reason is this: Clarity, Truth, Love, intuition, wisdom, feeling, wholeness, healing, are synonyms. They are metaphysical equivalents.
Because it means there's a time-old pattern beneath your pain: The inevitable physics of life up to the end of the 'Right Hand Path.'
There's a route through the confusion, and a very tangible reason why your usual go to answers just haven't been getting you to where you want to be. And as we look closer at your life-atlas, we realise that this long stretch of inevitability of your 'Right Hand Path' actually led you to somewhere crucial. Look right toward the centre, the 'Bridge of Awakening'.
The single most significant moment of your life is located right there. It is the hinge moment. The pivot. The switching on of the lights to see that your life had until now been just a theatre. The moment that you first see. The first time that you can turn around and see how your entire life had previously been pre-arranged - that you were just following a pre-written script. And as the lights come online, so does your self-sustaining nuclear-powered core. It is the very moment that you heal. It's the moment you stop confusing the anxious incessant narrator (aka the ego) in your head for your True Self. You are the Director. You just had to stop trying to steal the pen from 'God', believing that you were 'God', and behaving like 'God.'
As hard as I look, I can't find anywhere in the Bible where Jesus said:
'The Kingdom of you is within God.'
Jesus said in Luke 17:21:
'The Kingdom of God is within you.'
That makes you infinitely larger than you tried to 'kid' yourself that you were. It was only a kid that was doing that. You are no longer a child, and a child will no longer be running your show.
Taking the first small but decisive step onto the bridge of awakening is absolutely monumental. It is quite literally the first moment of genuine choice in a person's life. Before the Bridge, life was entirely governed by the ego, and those rigid structures laid down by early fear. You had to walk that path, in that way. But now you don't. And you don't need to walk it alone anymore.
The brilliant Sufi poet Rumi wrote that:
“It’s your road, and yours alone. Others may walk it with you, but no-one can walk it for you.”
But right here at the Bridge, you take your first step away from that inevitable forced 'Path of Attachment', with its futile 'Quest For Love' and its false lure of the culminating 'Temple of Emotional Anaesthesia-Turned-Prison.'
It's where the physics of desperate survival end, and the genuine freedom to actually choose begins. So how do you actually cross the Bridge?
Well, this is exactly where the work with a guide really starts.
Lao Tzu famously wrote "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear. When the student is truly ready, the teacher will disappear."
You don't need a guide for life. The 'Right Hand Path' was inevitable - so a guide earlier on would have made no difference. We need a guide at the start of the Bridge because we don't have our own navigation system yet and we have just emerged from the clouds of chaos and feel pretty bloodied from battle and bloody disorientated. A true guide does not see you transactionally, so will not stay longer than you need them to. This rule of thumb is a good guide to choosing a guide. Please forgive the tongue-twister
I am the guide who guides you back to becoming your own guide back to you.
It's as simple as that. And it is vastly different from the norm.
This is not a 'traditional' or 'transactional' model, like old-skool, or rather, 'old-hat' coaching that just helps you climb your current wrong ladder faster.
This is not thin therapy that reduces you to a category so that the taxonomy may be billed, while the therapist helps you create a Pinterest mood-board for what shade of 'Farrow & Ball' to repaint your prison cell with.
You are not the identity that was slapped onto you like a label in a museum of curiosities pretending to be window dressing in a glitzy department store or to be reduced to a price-tag that is always being reduced.
There is nothing you could have done to change your life before the Bridge. There is nothing that you can do about that old life now - Real reality is that which has already happened. There is nothing to be gained from sitting in the prison cell and staring at the map and blaming or shaming or pointing. The prison door is wide open - it always has been open.
But there is everything you can do about your life now.
This is not renunciation. You do not have to become an ascetic and live in a cave or wall yourself up in a monastery. This is 'Re-Collection': Of the True YOU; of your previously fractured parts; of who you really are; of your divine inheritance; of your 'Superabundance'.
I am not asking you to give up the Ferrari.
Here is the big reveal: Your 'success' may be harnessed as the launchpad for your true abundance.
And that is the next page of our journey together, if you so wish.
As Morpheus says to Neo in the iconic 'The Matrix':
“I'm trying to free your mind, Neo. But I can only show you the door. You're the one that has to walk through it."
The Map shows you the matrix. Now let me show you the method.
Oh, and this is not just some fantasy film. There are steps. There are tools: A whole toolbox even. There are concepts. Theories. Frameworks. There is a Meta-Framework. There is a Satellite Navigation System. There is one question. There is one answer.
No more numbing your way out of life: When life is just about to take the first step from excruciating pain to exquisite beauty, you will want to be fully awake for this.
The next step is completely up to you. It truly is.
The Master Chart: Success to Superabundance — The Master Map
The 'Master Chart' gathers my Meta-Framework, my Map, the Meta-Theory, the schema, the method, the engine, the concepts, hinges, parables, thresholds, entry-points, tools, transformations, your very own internal Satnav, stages, releases, choice-points, agency, integration, enactment, praxis, conversion, and states that together describe the movement from 'Success as Base-Camp' to joyful 'Superabundance' as BEing-led life.
You will never have seen this map before because it has only just finished being made and it is entirely original: From what was missing, from I searched for, what I learned, what I needed, what I experienced, and how I came to see humanity: How my world-view clarified. We can't read wisdom in a book.
Novelty & Differentiation
The section identifies why this work exceeds existing disciplinary containers. My published article 'The Human Condition and How to Heal It' explains why. Click here for my article:
Beyond Psychology and Psychotherapy
While psychology names the wound and manages the decor of your 'prison' - the 'Temple of Emotional Anaesthesia' at the culmination of the 'Right Hand Path' in the Map - our work will guide the crossing across the 'Bridge of Awakening.'
This is where standard psychology and therapy must pass the baton as they can take you no further, although we are grateful for their soil.
Beyond Coaching
Old school coaching often optimises the 'Wrong ladder', keeps you climbing it, and does not see how very short that ladder is.
This work asks "Who?" is climbing and "Why?"
Beyond Philosophy
I love philosophy. And it is fundamental as a base for considering how we start. But, philosophy can become a beautiful mind looking at the Bridge, which is all jolly lovely, but this may be no more useful than a chocolate teapot.
Our work insists on the lived crossing: It is 'Pre-figurative'. I define this unique approach in the table below.
Beyond Vague Spirituality
My method of "One hand in the Earth; one hand in the Sky," firmly grounds contemplative, philosophical, metaphysical, spiritual concepts whilst aligning with developmental research, childhood Trauma theory, and neuroscience.
This is not "Woo, woo." This is "Who, who?"
